Gents, we all know about the tanking of our economy that is taking place. However, this will not last long. The question is where will we be, and what will we be doing to develop our province? Economists call the stage we are at as "the crossroads", or "shoot-off point". we can either sit back and watch us go down the abyss, or we can begin to do something to change and give hope o our home (Matland). I am not blind to the tough economic conditions that prevail right now, but historically it has always been during those tough times that new transforming ideas have always come up. Even in the worst of conditions, new opportunities can be found.
Can we start putting up ideas, or suggestions on what we can start doing. I propose on this site that no idea should be construed too small, or stupid (we can discuss what we cannot agree on and come up with something). It does not matter if 100 ideas are presented, and only 3 succeed. These three would still go a very long way in beginning a process of healing, renewed pride, and hope for our future. So gents since we have all agreed on what the problems in matld are, I think its way past time we started coming up with the solutions to fixing them.
So gents, I roll the ball into your court.
