Manje nxa ungakhethi Ncomanzi umkhaba uzawuthini?

Zinengi indlela zokupheka iCurry. Ngizakunika indlela elula, kodwa lawe ungafaka okunye okufunayo.

4 Chicken thighs -cleaned
I medium Onion sliced
3 cloves garlic crushed
Half a teaspoon of grated ginger
3 teaspoons Curry powder (mild or hot)
Masala Gravy
4 tablespoons vegetable oil

Heat the oil on medium heat, and fry onion for a minute or two, add garlic and ginger and continue frying. Add your chicken pieces, fry a little bit, then add the curry powder. Pour the Masala gravy over the Chicken pieces until they are slightly covered. Abanye bayafaka amagwili, carrots, peas,bananas, fruit Chutney.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Then serve with rice or isitshwala.


2. Chicken Marinade.

This is easy. Buy ready made Chicken marinade. Wash your chicken pieces. Place in a bowl. Pour marinade over. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge, for the time stated on the marinade packet. When marinated, put in a roasting tray and roast in the oven at 200 for about 25 minutes or until done. Serve.

You can also use Chinese Chicken marinade. You can buy it from Chinese food shops. Uhle uthenge lebrown sugar yamaChinese. It comes in small bars in a packet.

Lindlela yokupheka ichicken ilula kakhulu. Uyathatha amaqatha akho enkukhu, uwagezise, uwafake embizeni, uthele ingxenye yembodlela yemarinade, ufake lamanzi mbijana, uhlephune isiqephu esilingeneyo sebrown sugar leyana, ufake phakathi. Ubilise for 25-30 minutes on medium heat. It marinates as it cooks. Nxa isivuthiwe uyayibona inkukhu yakhona isilombala oyibrown okhangayo. Imnandi ke lichicken. The sugar neutralises the salt.

3. Ukuwosa ichicken angithi uyakwazi Ncomanzi. Uyavuvuzela ospice beChiken, loba uyose kuOven injalo ifakwe isawudo kuphela.

Abanye bathanda ukuquma quma isifuba senkukhu sibe ngamaqatshana, besebesenza iKebab skewer. ISkewer kumbe okuzincwathi lokhu esixhumelela amaqatha ethu, uyakuthenga eSupermarket.

Chicken Kebab

Diced chicken breast (can be marinated for taste)
Pieces of green pepper
Onion, cut into chunks
Tomatoes, cut into chunks
braised, cubed rump or fillet steak (beef)

Hlomelela izinto zonke lezi, uqala ngenkukhu, kulandele, igreen paper, tamatisi, beef, onion. Ubuyele futhi uqale ngeChicken, iSkewer sakho size sigcwale. Ungenza amaSkewer akho abemane, kumbe kusiya ngokuthi libangaki abazakudla. Nxa usuwalungisile, faka etreyini kuOven uwose okwemizuzu elitshumi lanhlu kusiya kumatshumi amabili lanhlanu. Kodwa nanzelela kungatshi phela. Nxa ungabona ingani isiwoma iSkewer yakho, igxamuze kuMarinade yakho, ubisele kuOven. Use medium heat, about 150. Kuvuthwa kahle, kungatshi.

Zama ukugriller inhlanzi ngemedium to low heat. Uyekele ivuthwe kamnandi, ichochombe slowly. Low heat ensures that it cooks through without burning on the outside. Ungayixaba, ibe yisipatalala, kumbe uyigrille injalo, kodwa ube uyiphendula, after ten minutes, ize ivuthwe.

Nxa ungathandi ukugriller, zama ukuyibhekha ngeOven. Uyayigezisa, uvuvuzele isawudo uyifake phakathi kweFoil, ufake lezintwana ezinengi, ezinjengaboOnion, garlic, carrots, leeks, ufake leWhite wine, elingeneyo, kanye letablespoon yoluju. This would give it a slight sweet and sour taste. Goqela konke, uvale sibili, ingavuzi ifoil. Bake on medium heat for 45 mins.

The idea is that these things should cook together all at once. The fish absorbs the flavours of onion and garlice etc as it cooks. Again use gentle heat.

- thela lokho phezu kwenyama yakho ugoqoze ubusuyekela kuxhwathe for 10minutes
- you can serve this with plain rice or mixed riced with vegetables.

Ukupheka iPotjie Kos (a traditional Afrikaner meal).
Ingredients:
All types of meat (preferably enamathambo) you can get your hands on.
All types of vegitables you can get your hands on
All types of spices you can get your hands on.
Rice or Umngqushu (samp)

Chop all your meat into the smallest pieces possible (don't mince it) and boil for at least an hour. Chop/slice and add all the vegitables. Add rice/umngqushu. Cook for 30 minutes if you are using rice, for another hour if usebenzisa umngqushu. Preferably pheka ngomlilo wenkuni usebenzise ibhodo elikhulu elenyawo ezintatu.

Serve with cold beer and loud kwaito music.
