This applies to statements like "Uthixo uncedisa ozincedayo", which i also found unbiblical and contrary to the truth that, we have to confess that Jesus is Lord and we cannot help ourselves, but He can save us from sin.

In the parable of two men who went to pray in the Temple one stood there and shouted his prayers and the other was there humble quitely said his prayers......(Although the point was humility in this parable but it also brought a small sub-plot to the issue of types of prayers) there are times when its called for to speak your prayer out loud and there are situations where a silent prayer is good enough......

i believe a prayer is a way of communicating with God and we do not only communicate through speaking to a person or to God, we can also communicate without saying a word. we can not not communicate.
