However, the poor publican juss said a simple prayer" Dear Lord, have mercy on me for I am a sinner" and was forgiven. God sees the heart and rewards wat is done in secret and with sincererity. Lets come to his throne with a humble heart. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If God can read the mind and thots of a person, don't you think ukuthi He can as well understand a prayer said silently. Also in life there are situations where you will want/need to pray but find that it is not conducive to do it loudly, eg when you are in public, say ebhasini, or in an examination room, I think God will listen and answer a silent prayer. Though I strongly agree with you that there is power in the spoken word especially where you have to profess your beliefs.

Is it not obvious that by obeying nature and getting at least 8 hours none stop sleep one is putting their trust in GOD, in this context?
