Bantu bakithi. Emhlabeni lapha thina abantu we are at the messy of big companies. Bayazi ukuthi as individuals we don't have powers but surely collectively we can force these companies or organisations to respect customers. Please come forward and share with the rest of the world nxa sewake wadlelekezelwa kumbe wanga phathwa kuhle yi company.

Mina firstly Kule NTL. They tell you that they offer free phone services but i bill libuye likutshela okunye.

2. I tiscali. once you on board nxa ungaba le problem they don't help you at all. they expect to call i helpline yabo edurayo and yet they don't pick the fucking phone. They make falls promises as well.

T-mobile. Ngizwa abantu bekhala ngayo.

Botswana embassy - zishit zabantu. why do they make pay ?50 for a visa. We r their neighbours for God's sake.

There is another dodgy company that always give pple missed calls from an 070....or +44788.. never return those missed calls ngoba yiscam. You can never hear your phone ringing but all you see its missed calls.So plz be alerted. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

What you are simply doing is generalising and giving us your side of the story Golide. Its ok to moan and whinge on this forum about your bad experiences you faced when dealing with these companies but when you talk about us coming together to force a change, that is a bit laughable!
I thought it was common knowledge that NTL had customer service issues and that is the reason why they bought the rights to use the Virgin name and have Virgin take over the customer service side of the business.
If you really want to make a change I suggest you ring the telecommunications watchdog (I think its OFCOM or something like that) and let them know about your grievances and I can assure you they will look into your case.
The reason why I say you generalise is because you don?t tell us what your problems were and so I cant really tell whether it was the companies? fault or yours. All I know is that we are quick to ring call centres when there is a minor problem and hurl abuse at them.
You will also find that when you don?t pay your bills on time there will always be a need to call these call centres thus you will incur these exorbitant phone rates that you complain about. Least you forget that these are ?businesses? and where they sniff an opportunity to make a dime they will, so don?t blame them for charging for call centres. And remember, these call centres employ people that need to be paid and im sure you will know one.
I find Tiscali an ok ISP and I have been using them for a while now. Whenever I have had connection problems they are quick to sort them out and they at one time went to the extent of refunding me when they had network problems for a fortnight. Before then I used AOL who were equally efficient and I only dropped them because Tiscali is much cheaper.
So, I would generally say that if you want to avoid a lot of bother you should pay your bills on time or just pay by direct debit if you cant be bothered and you will find life much easier. I ever you feel someone is giving you a raw deal you have the right to drop them (that?s if you are not contracted to them) and find someone who will provide you with the service you crave for!

Mthoko don't be defensive. Lanxa usebenza e call centre don't take this personally. The issue here is not about non-payment of bills. I will be specific about tiscali. When you want join take up their services you get a free number to call. But try to ring them up to tell them that you have moved to a new address and you want to cancel their services. The number you call now is a 0871 and you are made to wait ages. Imagine making the call from a public phone kuthi lapho sekuphele about ?5 worth of coins iphone i khathe ungakakhulumi lomuntu.

Why can't you cancel the services online? They make difficult for you.

One other thing mr mthoko. The eloquent mthoko. Normal when everything is ok kungelamaproblems even i NTL ungayi recomenda. But akube lodutshana yikho lapha okuzalwiwa khona.

Again mthoko abantu baqalisa bengu2 or three maybe with time they build a website and isisiba lama hits ama nengi and then they become a very infuential ukuthi all the companies would love to be in good book with that website. O uswitch baqala njalo.

First you tell me ukuthi I work in a call centre, then you call me a Shona. What the hell are you playing at wena Golide. We usually have omafikizolo like you abangena lapha belamawala and verve that of a Tshabi like you do.
Let me break it down for you ndoda:-
I do not work in a call centre! (I mean, if I did I would be proud of it ngoba bagcwele lapha who do some rather not very glamorous jobs.
I am not a Shona and if you dare call me that again, sizabona.
This is a discussion forum where patrons are invited to debate with an open mind but still retain a certain level of respect (something that you obviously lack).
Right, that out of the way kasibuyele edabeni esiluphetheyo. You seem to think you are hard done by these companies yet you go on and say uyabafonela from a phone box. Why don?t you have a house phone? Could it be that you haven?t paid your bills and BT discontinued their service. Or do you expect Bt to bow down and kiss your ring udle mahala.
I haven?t heard of a company that forces customers to stay with them even if they weren?t happy to do so unless if they are contracted.
Word of advice my mate, nxa uswele into yokwenza, rather than come here and insult people why don?t you type gibberish on your pc until you are bored then delete it when you are finished!
