This is not directed entirely to Sinathamahewu but to all those singing the Zezuru song of sorting out Moyo. If you guys are not sellouts sent by Mgobovich to infiltrate this site, tell us why you cant come to terms with Jona's donations to the people of Matland?
*********************************************************************

You are entirely missing it now Mankala, how can the infiltrators infiltrate the infiltrators? Did you not suggest that the honourable owners of this site might be infiltrators, you went further on to suggest that we are infiltrators as well. Infiltrating who? You? Sometimes some people conventiely define themselves by trying to define others.

How old are you Mankala? You suggest to us that we must shove and shelve away our thinking prowes and abilities when it comes to the Moyo issue, you want us to understand a man who does not want to be understood "Kanti unjani?, How are you?" If Moyo wants to address the people here he must never be invited to do that, he must join like all of us have done and follow all the requirements of this magnificent site. Moyo must never labour under a misguided impression that he is superior than any of us. If he is, let him prove it, than some of us trying to label some of us as infiltrators just because we do not understand and suspicious of this man.

Baba Mankala let me tell you one thing i know, people could not be easily bought by donations, people need freedom more than they do donations, people will fight to attain their freedom but believe you me they will not fight to get donations, people want to feel useful by working and contributing towards their livelihoods and of their wider community. The stick and carrot approach is outdated and most undesireable, it serves to belittle and punish people. Although naturally, i am bound to sympathise with my own especially when my enemy hunts them but my own must come and inform me why he seemed to work against my interests and against my people's, he must come and explain to me why his approach is so individualistic and appears to be self-centric.

Izembe libekiwe empandeni zomuthi, ligawula Imbabala egxakaza ematsheni, ligawula Unango Nango namhla engasuye, ligawula uNhloko okulelwe ngayo, ligawula undabuzekwayo, undaba isegudwini, undaba isematheni, ligawula uNkomo bayizwile ukulila, hhayi koBulawayo nje kuphela kodwa naseHalale.
Abanye bambiza uMoyo
Abanye uLobhengula waMawaba
Babethi akayi kuxotshwa kuZanu,
Kukanti basazomxotsha imbala nakundawo yokuhla
Babethi akayi kubusa kukanti usazonethezeka eMaguswini
Abanye bambiza indlondlo, eyandlondlobala iZanu yangakwazi ukuthi yenzeni ngayo.
Umafavuke njengedangabani,
UKhanda lome qha
Isiqholo saseZhwane
Umpembi wendlela kaMthwakazi
Uyindida wena KaMoyo, Wena KaMlevu, Wena kaKhumalo.

Mgabe asks abantu bakibo amashona and says; </font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">newzimbabwe.com,
"In Harare if you had changed and said you now belonged to (British Prime Minister Tony) Blair, you should change again," Mugabe told thousands of mourners, targeting once again the British leader, one of his pet hates.

All the seats in Harare were won by the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) in Zimbabwe's 2000 parliamentary elections.

"You are Zimbabweans... you belong to Zimbabwe which was brought by the blood of our heroes lying here and others scattered throughout the country," Mugabe said.

"Should we give it away to sellouts here in Harare? This is our capital city. You are sons and daughters of revolutionaries...

"What wrong have we done you? Harare ... think again, think again, think again." - AFP

If Moyo is not the right man to break the yoke of imvukela yethu, then who is the right man? atsho phela ukuba kwenziweni?

Enough of this bullshiting'EXCUSE MY FRENCH' about uMbacu and all the nonsence atleast the man has refused to be Mgabe's stooge, thats the sign yokuba sengathwasa laye abekubantu bakibo.
If we cannot stand with our prodigal sons then who is going to stand with us, I wonder!

Out of a job, but Moyo's living the high life

He's down, but Mugabe's former information minister isn't out - he may even
have found someone to foot all his bills

The question on every political speculator's lips right now is; who is
backing Jonathan Moyo's lifestyle? Who is his controller? Last week,
Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe sacked his once ultra-powerful
information minister for daring to announce his candidacy as an independent
for the March 31 parliamentary elections. That was after Mugabe had ensured
the ruling Zanu PF party did not nominate him as a candidate. His abrupt
departure from cabinet deprived Moyo at one stroke of a free government
house, cellphone, car, fuel, DStv subscription, air travel between Harare
and Bulawayo, and access to limitless funds from the president's office. Yet
there has been no noticeable decline in his extravagant lifestyle. The
ministry of information falls within Mugabe's office which apparently has a
"black hole" of a budget as the feared Central Intelligence Organisation is
also funded from this vast, and largely unaudited allocation.

Political pundits here suspect that outgoing Speaker of Parliament Emmerson
Mnangagwa
is Moyo's financial and political backer. After all Moyo's fall
from Mugabe's grace began late last year when he called a meeting of Zanu PF
bigwigs to oppose Mugabe's appointment of Joyce Majuru - rather than
Mnangagwa - as vice-president and therefore, very likely, his anointed
successor. </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Jonathan Moyo?s terrible legacy

Njabulo Ncube
3/3/2005 8:36:51 AM (GMT +2)

?JONATHAN Moyo is dead and buried ... and we should be drafting the epitaph which should read something like, here lies ... please traveller stop and spit or p*** (unprintable word)?, said one senior journalist on hearing the news that the mercurial government propagandist had been fired.

This underlined the extent to which the former minister was reviled by journalists.
True, Zimbabwe and indeed the world of politics is rid of Jonathan Nathaniel Moyo but the trail of the deadly green slime of his touch still remains.
As the small but vibrant private media gleefully celebrated the demise of Moyo, the hated former minister of information and publicity, the government has used a draconian piece of legislation crafted by the former propaganda chief to shut a Bulawayo-based weekly in what analysts view as the continuance of his crude legacy in dealing with the Press.
The latest move by Zimbabwe?s increasingly ostracised government comes at a time when questions of access to information and the right to free expression have become cornerstones to building democracy the world over.
Under the repressive Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (AIPPA), Moyo set up the Media and Information Commission (MIC) headed by former journalism lecturer Tafataona Mahoso to licence media organisations and journalists.
Publicly Moyo, widely seen as a bundle of contradictions, claimed that AIPPA was a collective government responsibility. But surprisingly, in his CV Moyo says that he spearheaded the draconian law which he claims to be a ?landmark piece of legislation ... sought after by jurisdictions in Africa ...?
Hardly a week after Moyo?s inglorious exit from President Robert Mugabe?s so-called ?war cabinet? after the combative former government spin-doctor decided to defy President Mugabe and his ruling ZANU PF by registering himself as an independent candidate for Tsholotsho, the MIC plucked AIPPA out of the closet to shut The Weekly Times.
Citing alleged misrepresentations or non-disclosure of material facts by the owners; Mohoso cancelled the paper?s licence, bringing to four the number of papers closed since 2001. The MIC closed the Daily News and its sister weekly newspaper The Daily News on Sunday on September 11 2003 for refusing to register under AIPPA.
The Moyo-appointed MIC also moved with speed in less than a year after the closure of the two papers to shut The Tribune, a weekly owned by ZANU PF legislator Kindness Paradza who had dared to criticise some aspects of AIPPA during his maiden speech in Parliament.
According to Mahoso, The Weekly Times contravened Section 71 (1) (a) of AIPPA by dabbling in political reporting instead of developmental journalism as indicated by Mthwakazi Publishing, the publishers of the weekly, in their application.
Mahoso said in his statement the publishers? promise to stick to developmental journalism and other social issues was ?a hoax?. He added: ?It (MIC) therefore announces unfortunately, the cancellation for one year of the publishing licence for Mthwakazi Publishing House, publishers of The Weekly Times. Media services are required to stick to the types of publication for which they registered because it is illegal for them to pick up someone else?s unregistered objects and projects for whatever reward.?
Analysts who spoke to The Financial Gazette this week, while roundly condemning the closure of The Weekly Times five weeks before the March 2005 watershed elections, were unanimous Moyo?s legacy was not likely to be dismantled by a government with paranoid tendencies.
They said although Moyo, loathed by the media as the perceived architect of AIPPA and the Broadcasting Services Act (BSA) which maintains the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings? monopoly of the airwaves, had been fired from the government, the beleaguered ZANU PF needed the two pieces of legislation to keep the main opposition at bay as President Mugabe eyes a two-thirds majority in the Sixth Parliament.
The ruling party wants a two-thirds majority, which analysts say is very unlikely with the discord in ZANU PF, to tinker with the constitution to establish a proposed bicameral house, among other changes.
President Mugabe disclosed at the weekend his government?s plans to re-establish a senate ?in the next four to six years?. It was first revealed in The Financial Gazette in the last quarter of last year that government intended re-establishing the senate this year.
?It is a fact that Moyo is gone but hardly two weeks after his departure, the government uses the evil AIPPA which he played a major part in drafting to close yet another newspaper,? said Foster Dongozi, the secretary-general of the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists.
?His departure is presently no reason to celebrate because he is not gone with his evil laws. Our position remains the same ? AIPPA must be repealed to restore sanity to the media,? said Dongozi.
David Coltart, the legal spokesman for the MDC, said AIPPA and other repressive media laws would remain intact even with the departure of Moyo because ZANU PF was determined to defeat the opposition by whatever means.
Coltart said Moyo, like other people working for the government and ZANU PF, were being used as tools to perpetuate President Mugabe?s rule.
?All along Moyo has just been a tool. There is no way the regime can repeal AIPPA. ZANU PF legislators overwhelmingly and enthusiastically voted for AIPPA in parliament. So maybe Moyo is probably right by claiming that you cannot blame AIPPA on him,? said Coltart.
?The Weekly Times has been closed because it was targeting the heart of ZANU PF, the rural voters and the working class. It had to go, according to ZANU PF, which felt threatened by the new paper.?, he said.
The MIC has also in recent weeks written a ?warning? letter to publishers of The Zimbabwe Independent about its journalists who freelance for the Mail & Guardian, a sister paper of The Zimbabwe Independent.

Labo bantu who downplay the opposition to Jona and call people who hate him as less thinkers and proceed to say Jona cannot address Inkundla coz its a nonentity of people in hiding behind pseudonyms,THEN I ask those people WHY are they bothered to debate, discuss in this forum if its deemed useless and out of touch with people at home. Why are some of you Jona people at pains to convince us about Jona whilst at the same time you say Inkundla forum is useless so if its useless why are you wasting your time with all your facts here ---I dont see why your are wasting your time here if you think you are talking to people hiding behind their aliases BUT what I deduce with all your eruptions of self exaltation is that you realise that Inkundla is vital in its own way to the Mthwakazi struggle though you discredit it.Your actions betray you and deep down you know Inkundla is a force.Things will never be the same, gone are the days when rallies in stadiums were the only way to address or influence a revolution, this is the 21st century, technology like internet do influence action.
My last question to all Jona people you write so well BUT you have never bothered to show yourself by phoning RADIO TSHAY'NKUNDLA to put your views so we hear your voices and see how convincing are you in SPOKEN word or is it that you are just compositon writers.I challenge you to bring your views to the Radio sibone ukuthi limdaka muphi.

Bishop Ncube, our hero, lays into the sell-out Moyo
The Bishop was being interviewed by Ezra Sibanda on AfroSounds Station. The Bishop criticized Moyo for going about ?fabricating stories? and peddling falsehood about defending Zimbabwe?s sovereignty, while he and ZPF were holding people to ?ransom?. He (Moyo) ?shamelessly backed and defended dictators? and ?put his mouth where the money was?. Moyo was criticized by the Bishop for his ?evil laws? that he promulgated such as POSA, AIIPA and the NGO Bill. He ?tortured and harassed journalists? and uprooted ?objective reporting in Zimbabwe?. The bishop said he had no sympathy for Moyo for being thrown out of ZPF and that he was surprised that he now wanted to present himself as a ?descent man?. He went on, ?I will never vote for such a man?.

The bishop had no kinds for Mbeki, criticizing him for defending and shielding him from being ?brought to book? for his crimes against humanity. He went on to present a gloom picture about the upcoming elections and declared that through ?hook and crook? ZPF is going to win these elections.

He made a thinly veiled attack on the so called ?village idiot? by saying that the only way out in Zimbabwe, is for that country to have a leader of the statue of Mandela or Gandhi who would rally the masses to over throw the Mugabe dictatorship. He touched on the economic decline of Zimbabwe, due to mismanagement by ZPF and chronicled it where it all began to crumble, starting with the Congo war, the paying of huge sums of money to war vets and the badly unplanned and chaotic land reform.

The bishop also stated he has met Mugabe and he once asked him about the Gukurahundi issue but he was rather defensive and blaming the issue on the ?dissidents?. He however said that when he brought this issue, Mugabe looked ?uncomfortable? and not at ease at all. He further committed himself to criticizing this evil regime without fear or favor. ?If someone beats your mother, for how long are you going to watch and not defend her??

This madoda is our true hero!

So where will Zimbabwe get a MANDELA or GANDI from? These come about as a result of some brave men standing up to be counted. Are there any such people ko****a?Does he speak for Zimbabwe or Matabeleland coz the Shona might rudely inform him that they have all types of leaders that they ever dream of.

Could we have the honourable Bishop joining the political dog fight by being a leader of a party.I wonder if he has the sandles to come out of the priviledged, protected position he speaks from to carry out what he thinks? He says a lot of sense but as long as he is not involved in the game he can taught until donkies can develop horns.
