Zihlobo Ezihloniphekayo Ma Ndebele aziqhenyayo,

I may be an intellecual,a ned or even a chancer, but has anyone else noticed the sun disappears by a few minutes earlier each night?
I think it will have disappeared completely by 21st March next year and the world will be in total darkness.
Should I get my social worker to seek for me medical attention or I am just being analytic?

Recently I got myself vomited at by one less intelligent guy than myself about my English grammar.Since then move to raise this issue before you my role models,May I once again complement you Guys for the exellent work you are doing. In all your debates some of us will come out with a couple of Degrees without even paying a cent to anyone, maybe Mdu and company at may oneday have a"Thrower Majikijela column". Information is the key word to success.
On a lighter note, Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh Uinrvtisy,it deosn't mttaer in waht ordr the Ltteers in a wrod are,the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist Isat Ltter is at the rghit pclae.
The raed it wouthit porbelm.
Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey Iteter by it slef but the wrod as wlohe.

Ngibonga lina Maqhawe amakhulu,ngokungikhaliphisa okungaka.

Thrower - eh could the disappearance of the sun "by a few minutes earlier each night" have something to do with the onset of autumn and winter (and hence shorter days!!!)? That being the case your "observations" have nothing to do with being analytical or being one egg short of a dozen but rather a certain lack of knowledge about the four seasons???

And oh the answer to your question is that an intellectual is a man/beast who can post 648 articles in 38 days on an internet discussion forum

An intellectual is a man who accuses you of bad grammar and bad spelling but who can not spell the word ideological

Why is that some people insist on picking fights where they are manifestly ill equipped to show themselves in a good light.

Thrower if someone "less intelligent" than you vomited at you I would like to congratulate you on the level of intelligence you had at your disposal to place yourself in a position where he could do so.

Such a thing did not happen to you on this forum.

You deserved every response you earned.

I hope someone can tell you what an intellectual is.

I am personally not able to offer a reply that you could find intelligible.

Marcus my Brother,
You are one of the Role models that I salute, never in my mind will I ever doubt that you are indeed an intellectual,as for Jazi he is best described as a 'critic',I wonder which newspaper he writes for.

Mfowethu Thrower, you too are a role model and I have enjoyed the cut and thrust of debate but at some point we need closure regarding personal rather than intellectual criticisms and regarding observations or your own right to privacy might be unjustifiably invaded.

Inkundla is the place it is because it is not a place for constant feuds and vendettas.

Jaz if you wrote for a newspaper (and I don't know whether you do or you don't) I would personally buy every single copy so that I could read your words again and again and again.

I am sure you would repeat the compliment for me.

PS Mfowethu Thrower I intended as a gesture of friendship and reconciliation to award you a five star rating as a member of the forum.

It could not be done as you have chosen not to allow yourself to be rated.

In any event please accept the sincere intention in place of the deed.

Please see it as a gesture by a fighter who prefers to choose his fights with people of the zanu ilk who deserve to be fought.

My Brother Marcus,

Enough respect,to you.

Thrower - not to be a nit picker (or simply a nit!) I think you will find that a person who writes for a newspaper is called, in the main, a journalist.
I think that you will also find that far from being a journalist, Jazi is nothing more than a DCAL - a dustbin-collector-at-large!

Might I, at this juncture extend a hand of gratitude to you for ushering in the noble ideas of role models, star gazing and hero-worship onto this site. The sooner we turn this site into a fully fledged MAS (mutual admiration society or as some with far dirtier minds than my own an ALS whose full meaning I will leave to far more intelligent minds than my own to fathom!!) the better. The perhaps we could all go off and save a whale or two

Marcus - lol. No doubt I would return the compliment 10 fold

Jazi, Marcus,Mdu,Nduku,Thrower and others,I have to admit that the level of debate has indeed been of a high standard forcing anyone who contributes not only to check and verify their sources but also ascertaining that their viewpoints are not open to being controverted and therefore raising questions about their validity and authenticity.
Having stated earlier that I only went to school up to the mandatory Grade 7 in rural Tsholotsho, I will remain compliant and obedient to our "learned" friend Jazi. As for my great friend Thrower, you will recall that I was the first person to call you "MaThrower" on the Inkundla chatroom. You used to be called "Majikijela", so you see , how else can one show appreciation for a brother than to give them an affectionate name.
Marcus I suggest you change your name to "Mtshede" to keep Dr Robert Moffat's name alive,as he was affectionately known by his great friend King Mzilikazi and the whole Mthwakazi community.
Bafowethu I will be going on leave so don't take maximum advantage of my absence and launch vitriolic attack on me, when i come back , i will be firing from all cylinders, uyangithola kahle bra-Jazi. Otherwise keep up the good spirit and engage each other in these contemporal issues that influence our fate as a people.

Mfowethu Thrower, you are not simply a man but a formidable gentleman I would be happy to stand side by side with in any difficulty. To know when to fight is great wisdom. To know when to stop is perhaps even greater. Respect and 'nuff respect!

Jaz, your enigmatic eloquence, your patent desire to provoke deep thought and your good humour speak for themselves and may you always continue to help me to consider the terms of my life. I will always thank you for laughing with me where I try to laugh in the sad times.

Lobengula, many thanks to you for that compliment and for your principled consistency, unvarying affirmation and friendship. No man knows better than you the power of positivity. Mtanenkosi ungadinwa lakusasa!

At this point, on a note of friendship, in terms of the principle enunciated in the saying "Kusinwa kudedelwana" I too can feel entitled to take a short break, to witness ongoing discussions at Inkundla with interest and respect.

Gentlemen let us make ourselves known to each other at the Daily News Shumba forum and the much awaited site.

Bafowethu lisale kahle!

thanks guys. Thrower referred to a "Thrower Majikela" column, that's a possibility. the debate forums are being panel beaten for a fine finish and it will be wicked!

Eh kungathi thina abomqondo omfitshane we happen 2 have been relegated to the dustbin of incomprehension of ideas or the lack of them being haphazardly used to deflate each other's ego. Chat and not fart!
