Msupasila,

Many leaders of many revolutions have always initiated and led the war of freedom for their people in exile. What is surprising about that? Nkomo lived in exile but commanded a force that brought down the regime of Smith. All of those in the army were exiled first, trained in exile and then returned to fight the regime. There is nothing wrong about people being in exile and it is not new. Thabo and many ANC leaders were in exile and doing what needed to be done to wage their struggle. Actually nxa uphakathi ekhaya the enemy iyabe ikukhangele 24/7 and you can not do anything as it will use state machinery to thwart your plans. Uyabe utheniwe nje and this is exactly the situation with this MDC. Batheniwe! You can not remove Mugabe and Zanu PF through democratic means. They have never embraced democracy as a political way of life.

Nanso-ke indaba!

Sibamba

Awuzwake mfowethu kuyabongeka lokhu okwenzayo, ukukhombisa okwenzakala kudala.

Mfowethu usho ukuthi impi esiyilwayo manje iyafana qathu lempi esayilwa loSmith kumbe zehlukene lezi zimpi?

Ngaphandle kokuthi abantu abaphesheya kwezinlwandle bacabanga ngezisu zabo lezihlobo zabo, akungitshele ukuthi okwamanje sebenzeni ukuze into zilunge?

Yebo uMdala left ngoba kwakukhanya ukuthi usempini, iningi labantu abaphandle akusikho ukuthi lilwa impi, hatshi lidinga inhlalakahle kuphela njalo abantwini esengike ngathola ithuba lokuxoxa labo, kusukela kwabamhlophe kubalise amakhaladi kanye labansundu, bambalwa abakhuluma ngokubuyela ekhaya. Asazi mhlawumbe yiyo impi esikhuluma ngayo. Besides lokhu, nansi indaba

Yebo esikhathini kumele abantu bebe kuexile kodwa can I have a few good examples of people who are in exile coz they are fighting the war against Mugabe? I think and thats my opinion those who say they are in exile ngoba they are fighting the war against uMugabe they are not telling the truth at all.

I think nowadays we are fighting a totaly different war in the past it was mortal combat but now we are not engaged in that kind of war which makes difficult for me to accept that going into exile shows that people are fighting.

Imagine a situation where everyone in the diaspora was at home. Awuboni na ukuthi there could have been umahluko? If bonke abaku diapora bengabambana benze somethin, yes I can say ngabasiwo mavhaka kodwa okwamanje ngithi akunampi abayilwayo.

Yikuthi wonke umuntu obuya ngapha usuka abeseqamba amanga esithi s/he was participating in politics. Akunampi elwiwa ngabantu abaku diaspora (majority) balwa eyezisu zabo kuphela and not for the country.

Nanso-Indaba

Praying for Israel will in no way hinder your praying for your neighbour or even Zimbabwe. It will help you understand God more deeply and the bible says "You who call on the Lord give yourselves no rest and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth" Isa. 62:6-7. You are called to Pray for the glory of God to reign in Jerusalem.

As you study the situation in the middle east you get to uderstand how God is using Israel as his 'clock'. You get to understand prophesies better and your intepretation of scripture will be better. Your prayers will become more relevant as you pray the will of God for a particular season. So many times we fail in our prayer lives because we are not in touch with God's seasons.

Israel has got its fair share of sins. What about the church? We have sinned also and need God's grace. The most important thing is we all become one under Christ in the Commonwealth of Israel.

Israel has been restored as a nation. It is economically prosperous although it has a population of just over 6m. Our prayer is that there may be a Spiritual restoration upon it.
Israel has risen out of the dry bones of the holocaust as prophesied in Ezekiel 37. " ..I will open your graves and bring you into the land of Israel....And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land..." Ezek 37:12-14. Why God chose Israel a desert land I do not know. I just have to co-operate with his will.

On a slightly selfish note God promises to bless those who pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." Psalms 122:6 .we pray for peace as the peace that Christ gives. Let the peace of Christ reign upon Jerusalem.

Bafowethu.

Israel gave weapons and expertise to SMITH. Israel gave weapons and expertise to MUGABE.

In my opinion it is capitulation to pray for Israel. We are saying "thank you for making us slaves".

Li Zwangendaba.
