? Management of a financial department as well as IT and procurement functions within a chemical production environment.
? Presentation (to management and shareholders) of all financial information relating to the business
? Sound knowledge of corporate financial systems and ?reporting requirements
Required outputs: Functional

? Management of the full financial function within Sasol Wax SA (including Price?s Candles):
? Responsibility for accurate and timeous financial reporting to management and shareholders
? Maintenance of a sound system of financial controls, ensuring compliance to SOX 404 and ensuring an adequate and reliable IT platform for all financial data processing activities.
? Ensuring full compliance to legislative and group-internal requirements i.r.o. company law, IFRS reporting Standards, tax law, transfer pricing arrangements, IT regulations and sound commercial practices.
? Lead and coordinate staff within the different disciplines in the department (Accounts payable / receivable, Credit management, fixed asset accounting, cash management, etc.)
? Ensure preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
? Supporting the management team in its financial, IT and procurement decision making process.
? Evaluation, co-ordination and presentation of all financial aspects of the business? capital plan.

Qualifications and expertise required

? B Comm. (Hons.) (accounting) + CTA : (must)
? CA(SA) (strong wish)
? Management experience within a IT or procurement (functional) environment (strong wish)
? 5 years Commercial experience in a global corporate environment
? Have hands-on technical knowledge and experience within various functions within the financial discipline
? Advanced working knowledge of MS Office products as well as accounting and reporting systems (HFM, Syspro)

General

? Incumbent will be part of Wax SA Management team.
? Incumbent will report functionally to the Wax Group financial manager (on financial aspects)
? Incumbent will report on IT- and procurement functions to MD of Sasol Wax SA
