I had a soft spot for uSuthu .The problem was that the team seemed never to care about creating employment for the locals. They concentrated on buying players from elsewhere forgetting the locals who were not only looking at gaining employment but creating a name and a sense of belonging to the club..The point i am trying to bring foward is that Delma discarded the spirit of uBuntu. He had all the time to groom players in his region and create an identity (brand) associated with where he comes from.The people in his region would not have ditched him. I still believe he surrounded himself with wrong people and created a bad workmanship with Tshilas. Get me right when i say good workmanship. I mean administratively bosso and usuthu were supposed to be in good books but remain fiece rivals in the field of play. Right now as i put foward my opinion deep inside i have a feeling that Delma @ times acted a lot worse than Gwindi.(a known enemy) Delma was within and had the support of the whole of Matabeleland morally and spiritually. In him alot of people saw a man from uMthwakazi prospering.But on a closer scrutiny Delma hired his workers right from tea boy to the top from outside his home area. Let alone some one from amaSotho in Gwanda where some believe he comes from.
