Through discussions here kuMthwakazi I have noticed ukubana kule problem on the above.

Being in the diaspora brings a lot of opportunities kuMthakazi. But its seems ukuthi we are having difficulties in charting our way through these numerous opportunities. This could be because of lack of informed opinions or due to a deep rooted cultural problem whereby we have been choosing careers based on how much we anticipate to earn or what our relatives(or loved ones) think we should be doing.
I therefore propose and feel that we should have a topic covering this area where we can help each other on:
  • choosing a career
  • informing each other on a career path or change of career
  • opportinities within a chosen career
  • other relevant issues

Queries can entered here for discussion and hopefully there will be enough opinions and advice for one to make an informed decision on one's career.
I hope uSibalukhulu can allow anonymous enquries to be sent through him by members who wish to remain so.

Greenwich University, which sets its tuition fees below the maximum amount, at £2,500, was this week confident that applications were comparable to last year. The university is offering £500 bursaries to mature students and the same amount to students with 300 Ucas points, equivalent to three Bs at A-level.

Greenwich is also offering £1,000 scholarships to overseas students from a range of countries from Bangladesh and China to Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
