Whatever happened to the hard hitters of this forum. If like me you have been a patron for what seems eternity, then you will know who im talking about. I am talking about the great king of the forum
Lobengula (could it have been
Jona Moyo himself)- who used to engage his brain before letting loose his fingers on a keyboard. This is the man that brought us the ‘Federation vs Secession’ debate that brought the best out of o
muntongenakudla (the sinister one),
Sinathamahewu ,
Jazelindizayo ,
Soweto, Sirumula, Ndabezitha , etc.Maybe they just got tired of being cyber-politicians!
Old
Mabila still hangs around but her posts are not as frequent as they used to be. Other old comrades like
Potshoza (the resident prefect)
Siphepheli, Sgero, Sthutha and
Bhudaza are still around and they too are not as prolific as they used to.
The forum was so rich personality wise so much that we had our very own white man in the form of
Mtshede. Dokotela has been handing out prescriptions to his fellow Mthwakazians for what seems a long time even though what concerns him most yiku nakekela imhluzi yomzimba wakhe more than anything.
We had a man who called himself
Tsunami-Bhidliza-Gagasi and true to his name wayethanda ukubhidlisa until he was kicked out.
We even had our own teenage tear-away who goes by the name of
Mfazifayise-aka-Bunandi Kill Me . Some said she wrote a lot of hog-wash but as far as im concerned she gave the room some diversity. Just as you thought she was gone, enter
Magagisa … and the rest is history.
I cant help but feel we have lost a whole generation of
Inkundla patrons. Maybe the forum became a bit too monotonous for them.
Am I the only one? Bangaphi?
