I hear the Zanu pf government is still intent on destroying the Mthwakazi nation. Whilst on the surface the policy of dedicating a channel on radio to different languages in Mthwakazi appears innocent and constructive, the real reason behind this move is said not to be as innocent as it may appear. It is simply divide and rule. The same divide and rule tactics are being employed on new Zimbabwe.com by different Shona contributors who argue that there are no true Ndebele in Mthwakazi, and that those who say a lot about the Ndebele are actually Shona etc etc. These people are still intent on Shonalising every one and artificially boosting their numbers after, shonalising all people of Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Congolese extraction.

The truth is what is a true Ndbebele, thina abakwa Mthwakazi sithi yisihlahla bani i true Ndebele? There is no such a thing as a true Ndebele in Mthwakazi. The Ndebele are a conglomeration of different tribes/language groups as defined by our King, the nation builder iNkosi uMzilikazi and the Shona and their tribalists government should just leave us alone, please siyacela!

A government policy made for the good of the nation as a whole cannot be targeted at just one region. It has to be meant for the whole nation. If that ZANU pf language policy is to be taken seriously, and be regarded as innocent, surely it should apply to the Shona language speakers as well. They should not try to give the impression that the Shona are a homogeneous lot, they are not. That has been one of the unintended consequences of the Shona policy of forcing every Mthwakazi to learn Shona; we now know more about them than they know about us.

The Shona are a very divided lot and the whole wide world knows this. Zezuru and Karanga are very different; they are also different with ChiManyika, not only in some words but in accent as well. These languages should be taught as such, and given radio air play as they have decided to do in Mthwakazi and not this so-called unified SHONA, as if there is anything called SHONA in these languages.I divide and rule tactics siyazibona noma zimbeswe kanjani!! Mthwakazi dont fall pray to these dirty tacticts.

Bafowethu.

I call upon all the serious Children of Mthwakazi to consider the MERITS of MPC. This organisation is looking at the TOTAL FREEDOM of the CHILDREN of MTHWAKAZI. It encompasses ALL and ANY willing Mthwakazi Political Parties, Churches and Prayer groups, Abamasiko, Youth organisations, Omama, Trade Unions etc.

ONCE WE SHOW COMMITMENT, they can never divide us. Izizwe eziqinileyo ZIBAMBENE. You dont need your enemy to divide you. You need your strength to repel divisive elements.

Thina kasiyibhodi indaba. Let them and any of their well-wishers amongst us call us AmaTribalist. We dont care. Thina we are not Zimbabwean. Singu MTHWAKAZI. And such we have been from our forebearers. And such our descendants shall be. ASESABI LUTHO njalo.

This is the time SAVALA INDLEBE nxa besibiza ngobi. This is the time to focus. This is the time to show them that we do not depend ON OUR ENEMY FOR SALVATION.

VUKANI MTHWAKAZI.

Li Zwangendaba.
